Product Overview
The AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 ARI 8G is GIGABYTE’s character-themed version of the RTX 5060: a white triple-fan card with AORUS ARI anime artwork, a factory boost of 2722 MHz and 8GB GDDR7 on a 128-bit bus.
It is aimed at 1080p gamers who want the card itself to be part of the look of a white or anime-themed build, and it ships with an AORUS ARI doll and sticker in the box. Under the artwork it is a standard RTX 5060 with 3840 CUDA cores, a PCIe 5.0 interface and a single 8-pin power connector.
Key Features and What They Mean
RTX 5060 with a 2722 MHz Factory Clock
GIGABYTE lists a 2722 MHz core clock against the 2497 MHz reference, with 3840 CUDA cores and 28 Gbps GDDR7. In our assessment, the cooler and noise level matter more day to day than the extra clock speed.
The 8GB frame buffer is the main limit to plan around. In our assessment it suits 1080p with sensible texture settings and esports titles at high refresh rates; buyers who play the newest open-world games at 1440p with maximum textures should look at a 16GB card.
WINDFORCE Triple-Fan Cooling
GIGABYTE describes Hawk fans with alternate spinning, graphene nano lubricant in the fan bearings, composite copper heat pipes on a copper base plate, and server-grade thermal gel on the VRAM and MOSFETs. An extended heatsink lets air pass through the heatsink, and the 3D Active Fan feature stops the fans at low load.
For Philippine rooms that sit warm for most of the year, a 329mm triple-fan cooler on a mainstream GPU is a sensible choice: more fin area generally means lower fan speeds for the same temperature, which is what keeps a card quiet in a non-aircon room.
Dual BIOS, PCB Coating and Power Indicator
A switch selects Performance (factory default) or Silent BIOS. GIGABYTE also applies a coating to the PCB against dust, moisture and corrosion, uses its Ultra Durable component grade, and adds a power indicator that flashes when there is a problem with the power supply input, which is useful when diagnosing a loose 8-pin cable.
Display Outputs and Power
Three DisplayPort 2.1b and one HDMI 2.1b drive up to four displays, up to 7680 x 4320. Power comes from one 8-pin connector and GIGABYTE recommends a 550W power supply, so in our assessment most existing builds with a decent 550W unit can take the card without a new PSU or a 12V-2×6 adapter.
Competitive Positioning
The RTX 5060 is NVIDIA’s mainstream 1080p card in the RTX 50 series. Within GIGABYTE’s own range, the ARI sits in the AORUS family next to the black AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 ELITE 8G (GV-N5060AORUS-E-8GD); the ARI is the pick when the white anime design is the reason to buy, not a performance step up.
Against dual-fan RTX 5060 cards, the trade-off is size: at 329mm the ARI needs a mid-tower with room for a long card, while compact dual-fan models fit small cases more easily.
Philippine Buyer Perspective
Our Take
This card is a styling choice first. The core specification is the same RTX 5060 with 8GB that every brand sells, so the reasons to choose it are the white shroud, the ARI artwork, the long triple-fan cooler and GIGABYTE’s dual BIOS. If the look does not matter to you, a plainer RTX 5060 delivers similar frame rates, in our assessment.
Measure your case before ordering. 329mm is longer than many budget mATX cases allow, especially with front radiators or fans installed. The single 8-pin and 550W recommendation make it an easy upgrade for owners of older GTX and RTX cards on a decent 550W to 650W unit.
