The GMKtec NucBox M6 Ultra pairs a Zen 4 AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS with Radeon 760M graphics, a full-function USB4 port and dual 2.5G Ethernet. This version ships with 16GB DDR5 and a 512GB NVMe SSD, with Windows 11 Pro installed.
It is a capable all-rounder: fast enough for office and creative work, with integrated graphics that handle light and older games, and a USB4 port that opens the door to external GPU docks and fast external storage.
Key Features and What They Mean
Ryzen 5 7640HS and Radeon 760M
Six Zen 4 cores and twelve threads boost up to 5.0GHz. Notebookcheck’s review (32GB / 1TB unit) reports BIOS power modes of 35W (silent), 45W (balanced, the factory default) and 50W (performance), and found performance stable under sustained load with the CPU reaching around 89°C. The Radeon 760M is a clear step up from Intel Iris Xe for casual gaming and GPU-accelerated apps, though it trails newer Radeon 890M class graphics.
DDR5 with plenty of upgrade room
There are two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 128GB. Notebookcheck observed its review unit running memory at DDR5-4800 and called that on the slow side. For the best graphics performance keep memory in matched pairs.
Two full-length PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots
Both storage slots are M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4, rated up to 8TB each, and one is free on this unit. The factory 512GB SSD is a PCIe 3.0 drive; Notebookcheck measured its 1TB counterpart at about 2,966MB/s sequential read.
USB4, triple displays and dual 2.5G LAN
The USB4 port supports external GPU enclosures and fast external SSDs, and also serves as one of three display outputs alongside HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort. Two 2.5G Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi 6E make it useful as a small router, firewall or home lab box as well as a desktop.

The M6 Ultra sits in the mid-range. Compared with Intel 12th and 13th Gen H-series mini PCs such as the NucBox M3 Pro, it brings stronger integrated graphics, DDR5 and USB4. Compared with Ryzen 7 and Ryzen AI mini PCs it has fewer cores and a weaker GPU. Notebookcheck rated it 77% and described it as a robust mini PC with USB4 and great value for money, while noting its build does not match more expensive aluminium-housed models.

This is the NucBox to pick if you want one small PC that can do office work, light gaming on the Radeon 760M and later grow through USB4. The trade-off is noise: Notebookcheck found the fan clearly audible under load and the fan control immature, and in a warm Philippine room without aircon that will be more noticeable. If you only need office work and quiet operation, an M3 Pro or G3 Plus is the simpler choice; for serious gaming, a desktop with a graphics card is still the right tool.
