NETGEAR – Orbi AC2200 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh WiFi System – AC2200 Router & Satellite – RBK40-100SQR

Transform Your Home Network with Unrivaled Whole Home Tri-Band Coverage

The NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home AC2200 Tri-band WiFi System (RBK40-100SQR) is expertly engineered to completely eliminate frustrating dead zones, buffering delays, and weak wireless signals across large properties up to 4,000 square feet. Combining a high-performance Orbi router and a matching satellite extender into a single harmonious mesh network, this system ensures you receive the maximum internet speeds you pay for in every corner of your home, from the basement to the backyard. Whether your household is streaming 4K ultra-HD media, participating in competitive online gaming, or managing heavy remote-work video calls simultaneously, Orbi delivers exceptional bandwidth and stability.

Innovative Tri-Band Technology with Dedicated Backhaul

At the core of the Orbi system’s superior performance is its pioneering Tri-band architecture. Unlike traditional dual-band mesh setups that experience severe speed drops as data is relayed across nodes, Orbi utilizes a dedicated wireless backhaul connection exclusively reserved for communication between the router and satellite. This dedicated lane guarantees consistent throughput and maximum internet speeds regardless of how many devices connect to your network, ensuring uninterrupted performance for every user in your household.

Seamless Single Network Name and Roaming

Say goodbye to manually switching between multiple Wi-Fi extenders or dealing with dropped connections as you move around your home. The Orbi system broadcasts under a single network name (SSID), providing seamless roaming across your entire property. As you walk from room to room, your devices intelligently and automatically hand off between the router and satellite without missing a beat, ensuring a fluid and uninterrupted online experience.

Robust Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity and Flexible Expansion

In addition to wireless freedom, the Orbi system provides extensive wired connectivity options to accommodate stationary hardware. The Orbi router (RBR40) features one Gigabit WAN port and three Gigabit LAN ports for your modem and downstream wired devices, while the Orbi satellite (RBS40) is equipped with four dedicated Gigabit LAN ports. This allows you to plug in smart TVs, desktop computers, gaming consoles, and network storage devices directly into the mesh network for ultra-low-latency wired stability.

Simple, Secure Setup and Management

Getting your whole-home mesh network up and running takes just minutes using the intuitive Orbi app or a standard web browser, with no complicated accounts required. The system works seamlessly with your existing Internet Service Provider equipment right out of the box, letting you monitor connected devices, set up secure guest Wi-Fi networks, and manage your network settings effortlessly from the palm of your hand.
