The SteelSeries Arctis 3 Gaming Headset is a lightweight headset designed to work across multiple platforms and provide you with the comfort needed over long gaming sessions. It features 40mm neodymium drivers, a built-in retractable microphone, and SteelSeries 7.1 surround sound. Please note that SteelSeries 7.1 Surround is available for Windows 7 and up only, and software installation and account registration are required. For comfort, the Arctis 3 has an interchangeable ski goggle headband and airweave ear cushions that stay cool and dry. When you need to change audio settings, reach up to the on-ear controls for quick and easy access. Furthermore, its detachable cable system lets you pick and choose the right cable for the device you’re using, and its audio share jack lets a friend connect their headphone and tune-in to what you’re hearing.
